Anew Day has a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate program which provides marriage, family, child, and individual therapy for the general public. This program differs from the lay counseling program in two ways:
First, our Associates can counsel couples, and they can counsel children under the age of 13 - a population not served by our lay counselors. Second, our Associates have additional education and training that allows them to assist with more complex mental health issues.
MFT Associates also see individuals, addressing issues such as addiction, bipolar disorder, depression, eating disorders, anxiety, childhood traumas, abuse and other life-changing challenges many people face every day. In order to best serve our client's needs, MFT Associates offer both in-person and tele-health (phone and video) options. Fees for the professional division are based on a sliding scale according to your combined annual household income. We make every effort to provide professional therapy at a rate that is affordable to you.
MFT Associates have completed a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and are in the process of earning hours towards licensure. They are supervised by a licensed MFT and their training is ongoing.
